HIGHLAND GAMES’ TOP TRACK AND FIELD ATHLETES

GRANDFATHER MOUNTAIN, NC –John Svoboda and Meredith Wilson were named the Most Outstanding Athletes at the 53rd Annual Grandfather Mountain Highland Games.

Svoboda, of Boone, placed first in the 100 Yard Dash, 220 Yard Dash and the Long Jump. Wilson, of Asheville, placed first in the Long Jump and Triple Jump and tied for first in the High Jump.
